Next Thursday night, Indigo De Souza will take the stage at 9:30 Club, making D.C. the fourth stop on her Precipice world tour. On her fourth studio album Precipice (2025), De Souza, a North Carolina–based singer-songwriter, continues to captivate with her blend of tender vulnerability and indie-rock grit. De Souza first broke through with her 2018 debut album I Love My Mom, a lo-fi, self-released project that quickly gained traction for its raw, confessional lyrics and intimate sound. She followed it up with Any Shape You Take (2021) and All of This Will End (2023). Known for her deeply personal songwriting and emotive vocals, Indigo De Souza’s live shows are both raucous and reflective. Backed by her tight-knit band, she moves easily between high-energy anthems like “Younger & Dumber” and more intimate anthems, like in her newest single “Heartthrob,” that make even a packed venue feel small. De Souza has often spoken about how performing live is a form of release and that sincerity radiates through every song.
Indigo De Souza at 9:30 Club is not one to miss–tickets are still available for purchase here!
