INDY Issue Soundtrack

We know your Spotify wrapped is already a cry for help, so we figured we’d lean into the

mess with you. Welcome to the INDY Issue 3 personalized playlist – Tidy Mess. Whether

it’s being played as you enjoy the articles in this issue or in the background as you do your last-

minute spring cleaning, we hope you appreciate the ebb and flow of all the new (and not-so-

new) music the INDY has had on repeat lately.

The INDY prides itself on showcasing a diverse indie-ness (don’t worry, we won’t ask you

to name 5 songs from the obscure artist on your t-shirt). Sometimes, that means tapping into

the underground, but sometimes it means finding the “indie” in plain sight. Not only have we

included tracks from HELP (2), a record aiming to help children living through conflict globally,

but we’ve made sure to hit the mainstream names for you basic girlies as well. So, sit back and

relax while hearing Irish indie rock band Croíthe alongside Mr. Styles’ new tunes.

Natalia Gonzalez-Chelala is a Freshman in the SFS and the Archivist for the INDY.
