Amyl and the Sniffers at The Anthem on June 10, 2026

After conquering Australian stadiums opening for AC/DC and selling out London’s Alexandra Palace, Amyl and the Sniffers are bringing their 2026 North American tour to The Anthem on Wednesday, June 10. With only 10 North American headline dates set this year, the D.C. stop is one of the few chances stateside fans will get to see the band in a large venue setting. The set will likely draw heavily from Cartoon Darkness, their 2024 album that earned the band their first Grammy nomination, for the track “U Should Not Be Doing That.” Singles like “Chewing Gum,” “Big Dreams,” and “Jerkin” announced the new era before the full album dropped, and they’ve since become fixtures in the live set. The band is known and loved for its ability to match the raucous energy of its music in their performance style: frontwoman Amy Taylor is known for prowling the stage, climbing speakers, and heavily encouraging audience participation. That reputation and energy has turned even their larger concerts into frenetic storms of communal intensity that leave audiences bruised and happily wrung out from the mosh pit. At a 6,000 person capacity venue like The Anthem, Amyl and the Sniffer’s energy is sure to shake the room.
