Indy Suggests: It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 13

It’s that time of year again, folks – that special time when you can don a green spandex suit, pour yourself a cool glass of riot juice, and munch on a well-done milksteak. Season 13 of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is here, even if it hasn’t quite shown up with a rush of spray paint to bring in a new year as usual. The unusually late September premiere kicked things off with a tragic absence: the gang is down one member. The Golden God, Five Star Man, and Complete Sociopath that is Dennis Reynolds is gone, replaced by a new addition to the gang (Cindy, played by Mindy Kaling), as well as an unfortunate sex doll, and the curious desires of a now incredibly muscular Mac. After a tragically self-aware first episode, Season 13 sees new characters shine, old favorites continue their acts of heinous debauchery, and a plethora of cow-grazing metaphors and Jurassic Park references. The continuous downward spiral of the gang – and those unfortunate enough to cross paths with them – shows no sign of stopping, and yes, Dennis is still indeed a bastard man. Always Sunny can be seen on Wednesdays at 10:00 p.m. on FXX or online.
