It’s been five years since my first LANY show, but five years does nothing to the way a LANY concert feels as the summer air starts to settle in.

On April 12th, LANY will take the stage at D.C.'s concert venue, The Anthem. Consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Paul Klein and drummer Jake Goss, LANY takes their sixth album, Soft, on tour with the Soft World Tour. 

This story starts with Storey Littleton. She has both hands occupied tuning her guitar to the different keys of each song, and in the midst of her plucking, I am encapsulated by her dress. A dress that mirrors the sun hitting the stained glass of Dahlgren Chapel with each sway to the beat of the melody and a statement piece I would definitely consider an “insane find” at the local thrift.
